On Air Fallsview Balloon, a thrilling new attraction in Niagara Falls USA, is set to fly up, up and over the falls for the first time on Friday, August 30th, offering tourists the opportunity to soar to new heights. Billed as the world's largest tethered helium balloon, the impressive structure was inflated for the first time on Wednesday at the former Rainbow Air helipad.
Visible from up to 10 miles away, the massive balloon features a spacious gondola capable of carrying nearly two dozen passengers at a time. The balloon will take tourists to heights of up to 500 feet providing breathtaking views of the iconic Niagara Falls, which is comparable to the height of the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
The attraction offers an unparalleled vantage point allowing visitors to witness the majestic beauty of the Falls like never before. In addition to daytime flights, the balloon will also operate at night offering a unique perspective of the falls' magical nighttime illumination.
Each flight lasts approximately 15 minutes and is priced at $45 for passengers aged 3 to 10 and $50 for those over 10 years old. Children aged 2 and under can enjoy the experience for free. The balloon can accommodate up to 30 people.
