A Niagara Falls Police officer was working secondary employment at Walmart on Military Road around 6pm on September 26th when asset protection advised her of females placing lower price tags on several items.
The officer observed video of the two females switching the tags on items and then going to the register. After checking out, both females walked passed all points of purchase to exit the store.
Both females were stopped by the officer and advised that they were seen switching the tags. After being taken to the asset protection office, the females were given appearance tickets returnable at Niagara Falls City Court.
The correct total for the items was $86.07, but the receipt only showed a payment for $19.75. No further information is available at this time.
