Woman Who Has No "Problems with Anyone" Wakes Up to Vehicle Destroyed in LaSalle Neighborhood

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 100 block of 78th Street (LaSalle neighborhood) around 9am on June 19th after reports that a woman’s vehicle was destroyed overnight.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that she was getting ready to leave this morning and walked outside to her vehicle which was parked in the street. She observed the front windshield and both front side windows smashed out. The inside of the vehicle was even worse.

Officers observed the following damage to the complainant's vehicle: (i) the car radio/climate section was ripped off the dashboard, (ii) a portion of the dashboard underneath the steering wheel was ripped off, (iii) the glove box was removed from the dashboard and laying on the front passenger floorboard, (iv) slices into the vehicle’s fabric ceiling and two front seats, (v)  and scratches in the interior front driver door panel with what appeared to be the letters I F U.

The complainant could not think who would’ve wanted to cause this damage to her vehicle and told officers she “doesn’t have any problems with anyone.”

The estimated damage to the vehicle is likely in excess of $2,500. Officers are currently investigating the incident. No further information is available.
