Woman Threatens Neighbor with Butcher Knife, Tells her to Die

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 500 block of 7th Street around 5pm on December 14th after reports of a subject with a knife.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated her female neighbor just threatened her with a large butcher’s knife. She further stated that the neighbor has a history of altercations with her.

Earlier in the day, the complainant said she could hear the neighbor yelling at her from inside. She is in the upper apartment next door and the neighbor is in the lower apartment next door.

She could hear the neighbor yell, “die bitch, die bitch, die.”

The complainant stayed in her apartment because she was afraid to leave. Around 3pm she had to go install car seats into her vehicle and, while doing so, the neighbor started yelling at her from inside of her apartment again. “Die, die, die,” the neighbor yelled.

The neighbor came outside and continued to be hostile before going back into her apartment to get a Febreze bottle. She then came outside and hit the complainant. Afterward, the neighbor went inside again and came out with a butcher’s knife 12 inches long. She started to wave the knife around at the complainant and threaten her with it. The complainant stated she was fearful for her life and wanted to press charges.

Officers knocked on the suspect’s residence. She came outside and was placed in custody. While in the police cruiser, she stated, “I haven’t slept in three days and I was angry.”

The suspect was transported to police headquarters where she was booked, processed, and released with an appearance ticket. No further information is available at this time.
