Niagara Falls Police were engaged in routine traffic patrol around 10:00pm on June 11th after officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed that had dark/illegally tinted windows.
Once officers were able to get close enough to the vehicle to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle had pulled into Coastal Gas Station on 19th Street. The police cruiser followed at which time lights and sirens were activated.
The sole driver of the vehicle was a female with an expired NYS Driver’s License (it had expired May 8th, 2024) which she acknowledged. After issuing the female multiple tickets from the incident, officers advised her that she needed to get a valid driver for the vehicle or it would be towed.
The female became belligerent and hostile towards officers, claiming (and pointing), “I only live right there. . . .”
As a tow was requested, the female continued to be belligerent and raising her voice to officers.
“You’re a dic*head,” she shouted.
Tom Jacobs Towing arrived and took custody of the vehicle. Before the female walked home, officers did request they key to the vehicle for Tom Jacobs Towing at which point she locked the vehicle’s doors and left the scene shouting, “do your job!”
The woman was not charged, nor received any additional tickets, for shouting "You're A Dic*head"or "Do Your Job" to the Officer during the traffic stop. No further information is available.
