Woman Operating E-bike Hit by Vehicle that Left Scene, Sustained Life-threatening Injuries

On August 5, 2024, at approximately 1:20 am, Niagara Falls Police received a call of an injured woman in the roadway at 22nd St and Niagara Ave. Responding officers discovered a 50 year old Niagara Falls woman with life-threatening injuries - it appears she was operating an e-bike when she was struck by a vehicle that left the scene of the crash.



The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
