Woman Kicked out of Family Dollar Returns to Smash Window

Niagara Falls Police responded to Family Dollar on the 800 block of Portage Road around 10:45pm on October 18th after reports of criminal mischief.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the store manager who stated that a black female, whom police had already removed from the store earlier that night, came back and repeatedly hit the front window with a glass bottle. The female fled from the area after causing damage to the window.

Officers canvassed the area and found the female suspect in a nearby parking lot. She was brought back to Family Dollar for a show up at which time the store manager positively ID’d her.  The female was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. She was released with an appearance ticket.

The total cost of damaged property is $300. No further information is available at this time.
