Wild Fight in Niagara Falls - “Ight bet nig*a, I’ll be back to blow up your $hit”

Niagara Falls Police responded to 32nd Street around 8pm on June 28th after reports of a wild fight where one of the parties allegedly used a bat.

Upon arrival, police spoke with a male and female who stated they were menaced by a male suspect. According to the pair, they were arguing with one another about their only cellphone being dead. They were walking in the alleyway between the 3100 block of Orleans and Monroe when, after getting to 32nd Street, the suspect came running out from a wooded area across from his residence.

The suspect allegedly yelled to them, “keep that $hit moving” and “get the fuc* off my property.” The male complainant stated the suspect then grab inside and grabbed a baseball bat.

The suspect then supposedly ran at the female complainant and swung the bat at her. He missed, but allegedly hit a Razor phone out of her hand. Notably, she did not complain of any injuries to her hand once law enforcement arrived. Both complainants then ran away.

The suspect was placed under arrest for menacing based on the allegations made by the complainants. The female complainant alleged that the suspect broke her phone. However, a separate witness claimed otherwise.

Officers spoke to the suspect’s girlfriend of fifteen years who detailed a completely different description of events. She stated both complainants were arguing as they exited the alleyway. When the pair got to 32nd Street, there were multiple people outside including children. The suspect was across the street in the wooded area fishing. The suspect told the complainants to stop arguing and move along.

The couple began to scream at the suspect and threaten him. The male complainant allegedly said to the suspect, “Ight bet nig*a, I’ll be back to blow up your $hit.” The suspect then proceeded to grab the baseball bat and advance towards the pair, at which time the complainants started to throw all sorts of items at the suspect out of their pockets, one of which was the Razor phone.

The suspect was transported to police headquarters for processing and released with an appearance ticket. No further information is available.
