Niagara Falls Police responded to the 500 block of 25th Street around 8am on September 6th after reports of a larceny from a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated that she had moved her vehicle around 1am to the correct side of the road per alternate parking laws. The vehicle, a 2008 Ford Expedition, was locked and there was nothing wrong with it (i.e.: all windows were intact).
This morning she discovered the passenger side window had been broken out and her stereo stolen. Officers observed the damaged window and small pry marks where the window would be on the vehicle. The estimated damage to the window is estimated at $200. The Android Stereo is valued at $450.
Officers canvassed the area for possible cameras with negative results. There are no suspects at this time. No further information is available at this time.
