Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2200 block of Walnut Avenue around 6:30am on August 25th after reports of a burglary and stolen vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated her vehicle was stolen between 9-9:30pm the prior night. She continued, stating that someone entered her apartment and took the keys to her 2017 Chevy Silverado. The complainant was not aware if anything else had been taken at the time of making this report.
Within a few hours she located the vehicle in an alleyway using the Chevy proprietary app. After finding the vehicle, her husband brought it back to the apartment.
At no point did the complainant give anyone permission to enter her home or operate the Chevy Silverado. It is unknown from the details provided in the report if she was home at the time someone stole the vehicle.
There are no suspects. No further information is available at this time.
