Two Shootings Leave Two Injured, Police Investigating

Two separate shootings in Buffalo over the weekend have left two individuals injured. The Buffalo Police Department is currently conducting investigations into both incidents.

The first shooting took place on Mapleridge Avenue in the early hours of Saturday morning. A 15-year-old boy was injured in the incident. Police responded to the scene, located on the first block of Mapleridge, shortly before am. The teenager was swiftly transported to ECMC where he received treatment for his non-life threatening injuries.

The second shooting occurred on the 2000 block of South Park Avenue at approximately 9:15pm on Saturday night. According to the police, a 31-year-old man was shot while outside following a dispute or argument with others. The injured man was also taken to ECMC and is currently in stable condition.

Both shootings remain under investigation and authorities are working to gather more information about the incidents. Anyone who may have witnessed or has information regarding either shooting is urged to contact the Buffalo police through the confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
