Two Juveniles Arrested for Burglarizing Wheatfield Business

On July 8th, 2024 at approximately 6:30am, the Niagara County Sheriff's Communication Center received a 911 call from a neighbor reporting the sound of glass breaking and screaming coming from a nearby closed business. Deputies responded and quickly detained two individuals fleeing from the business.



Deputies then searched the business and confirmed it had just been recently burglarized. The two individuals were identified as juveniles and brought to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office for further questioning by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Deputies from the Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene and processed it.



The juveniles were ultimately charged with one count each of Burglary in the 3rd Degree- PL 140.20- D Felony, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree- PL 145.10- D Felony, and Petit Larceny- PL 155.25- A Misdemeanor. The juveniles were released to their respective guardians and given an appearance ticket to return to Family Court-Youth Part at a later date.
