Two Indicted from Incident Where Detective Was Dragged by Vehicle in Niagara Falls

Donald Rodgers Jr. (left), was arraigned on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, in relation to an incident that occurred in May 20th, 2021, where a traffic stop initiated by a narcotics detective resulted in her being dragged nine or ten houses. Thomas Pryor (right) was also indicted with respect to the incident. 

According to the Niagara County DA’s Office, Pryor is said to have been the passenger in the vehicle who leaned over and put the car in Drive urging Rodgers to accelerate. 

Both men were charged with reckless endangerment and attempted assault. Rodgers was also charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer and reckless driving.

Tinika Pugh (middle) was in the car with Rodgers back in June when he was arrested. While searching the vehicle police found a gun in the vehicle and cocaine on Rodgers’ person. Pugh was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
