Two Dead After a Stabbing, Fire


A series of tragic incidents unfolded in Buffalo where two are dead after a stabbing, fire. The Buffalo Police have indicated that these incidents may be connected as the two deceased individuals were known to each other, according to a police spokesperson.



The first incident occurred around 3:30am on Saturday when Buffalo Police responded to a call regarding a stabbing on the 700 block of Ashland Avenue. A 24-year-old woman was found with slash and stab wounds and tragically succumbed to her injuries. The Buffalo Police spokesperson confirmed the woman's death.



Shortly afterward at approximately 4am, Buffalo fire officials were dispatched to 62 Dash Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of a 24-year-old man on the first floor of the residence, specifically in a bedroom. Fire officials estimated the damage caused by the fire to be around $150,000. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by fire investigators and homicide detectives.



The Buffalo Police spokesperson revealed that the potential connection between these incidents lies in the fact that the two deceased individuals knew each other. This revelation has raised concerns and intensified the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding these tragic events. To determine the exact cause of death, autopsies will be conducted by the Erie County medical examiners. The results of these autopsies will provide crucial information to aid in the investigation.
