Sweet Buffalo and Totally Buffalo are excited to announce the first Totally Sweet Summer Lovin’ Shopping & Adoption Event happening from 10am to 3pm Saturday, June 22 at Buffalo RiverWorks!
The event will feature 20 animal rescues and shopping with local vendors and artisans right on the water! Enjoy food, drinks, music, shopping and more while having the chance to meet your new furever best friend!
“We are so grateful to Buffalo RiverWorks for allowing us to have our pop-up adoption event at their beautiful venue. Sweet Buffalo has held these adoption events throughout the years to help during the homeless pet crisis and we are excited to bring this special event to Buffalo RiverWorks,” said Kimberly LaRussa, founder of Sweet Buffalo.
Nationally-known artist Eric Jones will also be joining the event to create a giant animal-themed sand sculpture right near the Ferris wheel outside of RiverWorks!
“We hope we will draw an even bigger crowd to the event with the sand sculpture to help these special animals find forever homes. After helping Ten Lives Club with the Tyler Bass snow sculpture I reached out to Kimberly from Sweet Buffalo to see how I could help animals even more, and this event seemed like the perfect fit,” said Jones.
Mr. Mister is bringing their Mobile Cooling & Hydration Station to keep the adoptable pets and children and families cool all day with free water and mist at the event.
