Tom Brady Picks Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen as Next QB to Win Super Bowl

In a recent interview on the DeepCut Podcast, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady expressed his belief that Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen has the potential to become the next quarterback to win his first Super Bowl. Despite Allen's impressive track record as the Bills' starting quarterback, which includes five consecutive postseason appearances and four AFC East titles in the last four years, Brady pointed out that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs pose a significant obstacle to Allen's Super Bowl aspirations. The Chiefs have eliminated the Bills from the playoffs three out of the last four years, with Buffalo's postseason journeys ending in the AFC Divisional round each time.

The closest Allen has come to a Super Bowl was during the 2020 season when the Chiefs defeated the Bills 38-24 in the AFC Championship game, dashing the quarterback's championship dreams. Brady spoke highly of Allen, praising his character and leadership qualities, but acknowledged the challenge of surpassing the Chiefs, particularly due to Mahomes' exceptional leadership skills. The rivalry between Allen and Mahomes has been so intense that it prompted the NFL to revise its overtime rules for the playoffs, ensuring that each team has at least one possession without a time limit.

In their most recent encounter, the Chiefs emerged victorious over the Bills in the Divisional round in Buffalo, further highlighting the formidable competition that Allen and the Bills face in their quest for a Super Bowl title.
