Thief Breaks Into Vehicle to Smoke a Cigarette and Steal a Bottle of Pills


Niagara Falls Police responded to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center around 7pm on September 18th after reports of a larceny from a vehicle.


Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who was leaving the hospital and parked on the third floor of the parking ramp. When she got to her vehicle, she noticed a cigarette on the floor along with a bottle of prescription medication to be missing.



The complainant was unsure if she left the vehicle unlocked, but at no point left a used cigarette inside of it. The prescription had approx. 30 pills in it and was valued at $20. Nothing else appeared to be missing.


There are no suspects. No further information is available at this time.
