Information from official police report on Memorial Parkway home invasion.

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 500 block of Memorial Parkway around 3:00pm on June 8th after reports of a home invasion where a male was shot and PlayStation allegedly stolen.

Upon arrival, police spoke to a female who stated her son was shot and screaming for help. Officers entered the home and went to the back hallway where they observed a male holding his left thigh in the hallway. Officers observed a large amount of blood around the male and located a single gunshot wound to his left thigh.

Officers believed the rest of the apartment needed to be searched and did so with negative results for a shooter. However, one .9mm casing and bullet was located on the stairwell.

Once the house was clear, the male’s mother spoke to police and told them she was sleeping in the first-floor apartment when she heard her son screaming for help.

“She states her son was yelling that he was shot and they took his PlayStation,” noted the police report.

Niagara Falls Fire and AMR rendered aid to the male and transported him to ECMC for treatment.

Witness accounts stated that there were two suspects. No further information is available.
