Teenager from Youngstown Arrested After Police Chase, DWI

On July 5, 2024 at 0122 hours, Patrols attempted to initiate a Traffic Stop in the area of Military Road and Elsa Place for Speed. The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued at a high rate of speed through Elsa Place, Bellreng Drive and surrounding neighborhood streets. The vehicle also went off road through a park in the area of Sadlo Drive attempting to evade police.

The pursuit continued north onto Military Road and east on Saunders Settlement Road where the vehicle eventually complied. The 18 year old, male operator CARSON J. BOOS of Youngstown NY was taken into custody without incident. He is charged with Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd (Misdemeanor), Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd (Misdemeanor), Reckless Driving (Misdemeanor), Operating after Consuming Alcohol under 21 (Zero-Tolerance DWI), Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol and numerous other Vehicle and Traffic Law Infractions.

The vehicle was impounded and due to New York State Bail Reform Legislation, BOOS was released on Appearance Tickets returnable to the Town of Niagara Court. Teenager from Youngstown Arrested After Police Chase, DWI.
