During the divisional round, the Chiefs emerged victorious 27-24 over the Bills. However, the experience left a lasting impression on both the Kelce family and Swift (and not in a positive way). In a recent appearance on the Up & Adams show, Adam Lefkoe, a close friend of the Kelce family, shed light on the group's unexpected reaction to the notorious Bills Mafia.
"I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo. It was not. For all parties involved. And I'm talking about the most famous of all the parties," Lefkoe revealed, hinting at the challenges faced by Swift and the Kelce family during their visit.
Lefkoe elaborated that the Kelce family had anticipated an exciting atmosphere filled with good energy, but fate had different plans. "I think they were kind of going in being like, 'This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.' And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness," he explained. "And I think they left and went, 'I don't know if I want to experience that again.'"
Bills Mafia, known for their passionate and sometimes rowdy fan behavior, has a reputation throughout the NFL. While many fans embrace the intensity and camaraderie of the experience, it appears that Swift and the Kelce family were taken aback by the fervor displayed during the game.
Swift's absence seemed to affect boyfriend Travis Kelce's performance as he had one of his worst games of the year catching two passes for 8 yards. His body language was visibly different on the sidelines and on the field. There were several instances he simply stopped running routes and pulled up. He seemed dejected as the game progressed as Mahomes failed to get him involved.
