Suspect Ransacks Home and Urinates in Iced Tea Pitcher During Burglary

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 700 block of 20th Street around 6pm on October 17th after reports of a burglary.


Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated she left her residence at approx. 5am on October 17th and returned at 4pm. When she returned home, her house had been broken into.



She stated the door frame and the area around the handle was damaged (estimated value to repair/replace of $300). In addition, food (valued at $300), clothing (valued at $1,000), a mini bike (valued at $999), a PlayStation 5 (valued at $599), Oculus VR headset (valued at $599) and an iPhone (valued at $800) was stolen from inside the apartment.


The complainant continued, stating that that the cords to her skillet and two Roku TVs were cut off (valued at $350). The total estimated value of items taken is $4,647.



While going around the house, she also noticed that an iced tea pitcher was full and had foam on the top with the smell of urine coming from it. Lastly, there were two large cans of four lokos in the trash that did not belong to her.


The complainant told police that she is currently going through a domestic violence court case with a male whom she has an order of protection against. It is unknown at this time who the suspect is. However, she also stated there is animosity with an upstairs neighbor.



The Crime Scene Unit responded to process the scene. No further information is available at this time.
