Niagara Falls Police responded to a reported subject with a gun around 3:45pm on December 23rd.
Prior to arrival, dispatch advised officers a suspect was in a black Chevy Suburban. When the vehicle could not be located, officers relocated to speak with the victim.
The female victim observed a black Chevy Suburban pull in front of an address on the 1500 block of 15th Street. She observed the suspect get out of the passenger-side of the vehicle and headed to the front of the building. The victim walked out of the front door and advised the male that he is not welcome inside and needs to leave.
The male pushed her aside and stated “get the fu*k out of my way.” He then proceeded to pull a black handgun out and pointed it at her. The victim ran away due to her being in fear for her life.
Officers located the suspect in an alleyway where he was detained and placed in custody. He was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing.
No weapon was found on his person as it was likely discarded shortly after the incident. While booking him, officers seized a large quantity of cash. No further information is available at this time.
