Suspect "Playing with Matches" Causes $2,000 in Damage to Boys and Girls Club Playground

Niagara Falls Police responded to the Boys and Girls Club around 12:00pm on July 2nd after reports that an unknown suspect playing with matches caused more than $2,000 in damage to their playground.

Upon arrival, police spoke with one of the workers who stated at an unknown time someone appeared to go into the park and was playing with matches on the slide. In addition to finding matches there were also multiple burn marks.

They do not know who did it and could not access their security cameras at this time. The total estimated cost of the damaged property is $2,000. No further information is available.
