Niagara Falls Police responded to the Seneca Niagara Casino around 6:30am on May 25th after reports that an unknown male attacked a patron of the establishment.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated he and his family were walking between the parking garage and valet parking to the casino around 3-4am when they walked passed an unknown male who was on his phone. After they passed him, the group started chuckling about something one of them had said. The male, who was still in the vicinity, became irate and asked what was so funny.
They told him no one in the group was laughing at him, but that it wasn’t his business regardless. The unknown male then started walking toward the complainant aggressively and started attacking him.
Kicking, punching and grabbing ensued. The altercation continued until the unknown male bit the complainant’s nose causing significant pain and blood.
A vehicle pulled up and encouraged the unknown male to get in. He did, but then quickly exited again and displayed a knife. “I don’t want to use it but if I have to I will,” said the male before fleeing.
