Street Ball Turns Into a Neighborhood Brawl in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue around 6pm on June 30th after reports of neighborhood kids and parents brawling over street basketball.

Upon arrival, there were multiple uncooperative parties yelling at each other from across the street. There appeared to be a mix of juveniles and adults arguing. Officers separated the parties and interviewed a male and female who both continued to yell profanities over officers at each other.

The male stated that his son was playing basketball with the female’s kids and there was a physical altercation where both their children were involved. Threats of physical injury were being made by all parties.

There were no injuries reported to police. Officers stayed on scene until all parties left and stopped arguing. No further information is available - Street Ball Turns Into a Neighborhood Brawl in Niagara Falls.
