1. Table Rock Centre: Table Rock Centre, located on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, provides an excellent vantage point for viewing the falls during the day. At sunset, however, this location comes alive with magical splendour. Its central location near the edge of the Horseshoe Falls allows for unrivaled views of the sky's changing colors.

2. Niagara Falls Prospect Point Observation Tower: Found on the American side, the Niagara Falls Prospect Point Observation Tower extends out over the Niagara Gorge, offering sweeping views of the falls. It is also one of the only places that provide unobstructed views of all three falls - the Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the American Falls.

3. Journey Behind the Falls: Take a tour of the falls from behind through a network of tunnels for a truly immersive experience. As the sun begins to set, you can watch the falling waters become beautifully silhouetted against the evening sky. Journey Behind the Falls tour can be accessed from the Table Rock Centre.

4. Skylon Tower: At over 775 feet high, Skylon Tower's indoor and outdoor observation decks offer one of the best sunset viewing locations. The panoramic view stretches far beyond the three waterfalls, allowing you to see the city skyline, the Great Gorge, and on a clear day, you can see all the way to the skyline of Toronto.

5. The Niagara SkyWheel: Situated in the heart of Clifton Hill on the Canadian side, the Niagara SkyWheel is a ferris wheel that rises 175 feet in the air, providing an excellent viewing spot for both the falls and the surrounding area. It's an extraordinary experience watching the sunset and then witnessing the falls lit up by colorful lights once night falls.

6. Rainbow Bridge: Walking across the Rainbow Bridge that connects the United States and Canada gives you another exceptional viewpoint for sunset-watching. Note, though, you will need to pass through customs to cross the bridge, but the breathtaking sights are well worth it.

Regardless of which location you choose, remember to arrive early to secure the best spots. No two sunsets are ever the same, but each offers a spectacular and awe-inspiring end to the day. Remember to bring your camera – these are views you'll want to keep forever. So, if you're planning a trip to Niagara Falls, make sure to spend at least one evening watching the sunset – it's an experience you won't want to miss.
