Throughout his fight against cancer, young Chase Collins has felt the unwavering support of a player from the Buffalo Bills - QB Josh Allen.
10-year-old Chase was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November 2022 and endured a 45-day stay at UPMC Children's Hospital. His cancer treatments were marked with moments of elation, largely due to external support.
To have individuals so generous as to provide brief, joyful moments or invest time into actions that distract him from the harsh realities of his condition, even if it's only for a few minutes, is invaluable, expressed Brian Collins, Chase's father.
Currently, Chase is in remission and is under constant care to ensure it stays that way.He takes oral chemotherapy every day, attends appointments roughly once a month and undergoes a procedure every three months.
As Chase continues to display resilience, he received a moment he will never forget. Chase and his dad had the opportunity to attend a Bills game. Chase's most memorable moments were being in the suite and, of course, interacting with Allen who was wearing his support bracelet.
A little kindness can go a long way.
