Niagara Falls Police responded to Target on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 5pm on December 16th after reports of shoplifting in progress.
Upon arrival, officers met with security who pointed out two parties walking southbound in the Target parking lot. Both parties were quickly located near Fuji Grill and detained. Oddly, they were not walking quickly. Both parties were returned to Target and positively identified as the two suspects.
Security stated the shoplifters entered Target at approx. 4:15pm and began shopping. They began exiting the store 15 minutes later with a cart full of store merchandise passing all points of sale. Security confronted them at the exit door at which time they left the cart and exited the store. The merchandise was valued at $302.97.
Both were given appearance tickets and trespassed from the store. No further information is available at this time.
