Niagara Falls Police responded to Rite Aid on the 8000 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard around 2:30pm on September 10th after reports of a shoplifter.
While en route, dispatch advised officers that a white male had left the store with beer and was heading towards Delta Sonic.
Officers arrived and observed the male walking by the car wash entrance. The male did run westbound through the back lot over to the detail shop and then southbound again.
After a short runaround, the male was found lying in a field just west of Delta Sonic. He had hoped that the tall grass would hide his body, but it did not.
Officers recovered a Heineken Beer that the male had stole inside the detail shop. The male was taken into custody and transported back to Rite Aid where he was positively ID’d by Store Manager. The male was issued a trespass notice and an appearance ticket. No further information is available at this time.
