A head-on collision in Niagara Falls, ONTARIO on Saturday afternoon has left four individuals hospitalized including two with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 3:15pm at the intersection of Kalar Road and Montrose Road.
According to a media release from the Niagara Regional Police, a 52-year-old man was driving a grey Chevrolet Equinox northbound on Kalar Road when he collided with a white Jeep Compass operated by a 63-year-old woman. The impact of the crash was severe.
Niagara EMS paramedics transported both drivers to out-of-region hospitals for treatment. The female driver is currently reported to be in stable condition. Additionally, two female passengers who were in the Jeep Compass, ages 63 and 64, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who possesses video or dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
