Niagara Falls Police responded to 7-Eleven on the 9100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard around 6am on August 2nd after reports of a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that the suspect had already fled the scene. They started to speak with an employee who stated that he was working at approx. 5:20am when a 6’2” light-skinned black or Hispanic male wearing all black and a white mask entered the store. The suspect told the employee, “give me all the money.”
The employee complied. He opened the cash register and handed the suspect $40. Upset, the suspect said, “that’s not all the money!” The suspect then moved his hand into his pocket/waistline area and gestured as if he had a firearm. The employee showed him the empty register at which time the suspect walked out of the store.
When the store manager arrived, officers were able to review surveillance footage. They observed the employee working behind the counter when an unknown suspect entered the store. The unknown suspect, dressed all in black, walked directly to the counter. A 5-10 second conversation took place and the employee hands money to him. The suspect then walks out of the store.
