Niagara Falls Police responded to the 6700 block of Lindbergh Avenue around 11:45am on September 17th after reports of criminal mischief that was later changed to criminal tampering.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated that she is a power of attorney for the property owner. She continued to explain that she received a call from her realtor’s office this Sunday that someone had spray painted the fence so she came to clean it up.

While on scene, officers did observe the graffiti over a large portion of the fence. There was no mention of what the graffiti stated / the design. The complainant was in the process attempting to clean the graffiti and was having some success. She was using a plastic putty knife to scrape the rest of it off once it was scrubbed.

Officers canvassed the area for security cameras with negative results. There are no suspects. No further information is available at this time.
