This month, Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino and members of the City Council presented a resolution in recognition of Niagara Pride's achievements since its establishment in 2020.
The president of Niagara Pride, Ronald Piaseczny, accepted the resolution in the council's chambers, and affirmed the organization's commitment to advocating for inclusion, diversity, and equitable communities.
"We feel honored to be acknowledged here," Piaseczny said.

They organize events and meetings that encourage positive interactions and discourage bullying and prejudice. In addition, they establish partnerships with local groups to foster mental, physical, and social well-being for the LGBTQ+ community in and around Niagara County.
