Police Respond to Possible Shots Fired Call at Players Bar

Niagara Falls Police responded to Players Bar on the 400 block of Niagara Street around 2350 hours on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, after reports of shots heard.

Upon arrival, police were told by the complainant that at approx. 2305 hours he was outside of Players Bar when a scuffle with a couple of unknown parties started on the 4th Street side of the bar. The complainant further told police that he attempted to defuse the situation and asked the men to leave the premises. The argument continued as the males walked down 4th Street at which point a single gunshot was heard by the complainant.

Police then reviewed surveillance footage which showed the argument occurring on the 4th Street side of the bar which became physical. The parties then disappeared down 4th Street. No gunshots could be seen in the video.

At this point it is unknown if any weapon was fired. Officers checked 4th Street for any evidence with negative results. No further information is available at this time.
