Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle

A tragic accident in the Village of Medina on Saturday morning (April 12th, 2025) claimed the life of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West Center Street and West Avenue.

According to a statement released on the Village of Medina Police Department’s social media page, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.

The New York State Police reconstruction unit has been called in to assist with the ongoing investigation.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:40am. No further information is available at this time.
