Over $9,650 Worth of Property Stolen in Centre Avenue Burglary

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1500 block of Centre Avenue around 1630 hours on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, after reports of burglary.

Upon arrival, police were met by complainant who stated she left her home for work as she usually does and secured her residence by locking both front and rear doors. When returning home from work, the complainant observed her front door wide open but still locked. Upon further observation the door frame appeared to be damaged as if it was forced open. The door frame’s estimated value of damage is $100.

The complainant stated she and her four children made their way around the residences at which point they realized multiple pieces of property had been stolen. In total, the complainant reported the following property stolen: Three Nintendo Switch game systems, four silver Apple iPad Pros, two Apple MacBooks, one Sony PlayStation 4 game system, one Microsoft Xbox One game system, two Hoverboards, and miscellaneous clothing/sneakers. The total estimated amount of stolen property reported by complainant is $9,650.
