Niagara Falls Police responded to Taco Bell on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 6pm on July 31st after an old man reaches through the drive-thru window and slaps a female employee.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the supervisor who showed them surveillance video of an old man at the drive-thru window reach inside of it and assault an employee. The supervisor then became irate and combative prompting officers to relocate outside to speak with the victim. It is unknown what caused the supervisor's change in demeanor.
The female employee stated that an unknown old man reached through the drive-thru window and slapped her “because one of the two doors were locked to the building.” Although the employee was not injured or in fear of her life, she was interested in pressing charges if police could positively identify the man.
The old man was not 'living mas' (i.e.: enjoying life) as Taco Bell implores its customers to do.
Police do not have a known suspect at this time. No further information is available.
