While on routine patrol, Niagara Falls Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Fairfield Avenue around 12:30am on October 10th for a reported fight.
Upon arrival, officers witnessed multiple people screaming and fighting. Officers separated all parties that were involved. Everyone on location refused to give any of their personal information to officers and only said they “had a friendly get together over losing a family member from gun violence.” Although it might have started friendly, it did not end that way.
While attempting to see if anyone was hurt or needed medical attention, a woman came from inside the house loudly challenging everyone to fight. Officers again separated all parties and, while doing so, the woman picked up an unknown object and thew it towards another individual. However, it missed and hit an officer in the head instead.
Some of the pieces from the unknown object did strike a friend in the face causing her to bleed. Officers placed the woman under arrest for disorderly conduct. She was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing before being released with an appearance ticket.
All parties on medical refused medical and to provide their names. No further information is available at this time.
