Niagara Falls Police were on routine patrol around 7pm on July 19th at the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard and Walnut Avenue when officers observed a 2008 Mercury Marquis fail to signal.
Officers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle complied. Upon approaching the vehicle, police were met by a male known to law enforcement. Officers quickly observed that the vehicle had no plates, was not inspected, unregistered and had no insurance.
In response, the male gave an excuse that he had “just bought the vehicle today.” The police report does not state whether or not this was corroborated.
The male was issued multiple traffic tickets returnable at Niagara Falls City Court. Lockport Towing arrived and took possession of the vehicle. aNo further information is available - No Plates, Registration, Insurance or Inspection: Known Criminal Tells Police 'I just bought it today'.
