NJ Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Violent Assaults with Bat, Stomping Victim's Head on Ground


A 40-year-old man from New Jersey has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison for a series of violent attacks in Niagara Falls. Quennel Jordan was convicted for attacking four individuals, including two with a baseball bat, in separate incidents.



Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced the sentencing of Jordan for his involvement in a string of brutal assaults that occurred in Niagara Falls during the summer of 2021. Jordan pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and one count of Attempted Assault in the Second Degree.



The violent incidents took place in June and July of 2021. In June, Jordan attempted to assault two individuals, one of whom narrowly escaped injury during the attack with a baseball bat. The following month, Jordan attacked another person with a baseball bat and was also involved in a brutal stomping outside a gas station in Niagara Falls.
