Niagara Falls Woman Arrested after Driving on Suspended License for 16th Time

A routine traffic patrol on Grand Island led to the arrest of a 29-year-old woman from Niagara Falls who was driving with a suspended license for the 16th time. Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reported that Ellysa Carder was pulled over after a deputy observed several traffic violations.

During the stop, deputies were alerted that Carder had an outstanding warrant from the Town of Tonawanda. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing four bundles of suspected heroin located beneath the driver's seat. Additionally, authorities found two crystalline rocks believed to be heroin and a blue container with suspected cocaine.

Carder faces multiple charges including two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlicensed driving along with various traffic offenses. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
