Niagara Falls Restaurant Burglarized - Stolen Cash and Destruction of Property

Niagara Falls Police responded to Indian Kitchen King on the 600 block of Main Street around 10:30am on June 10th after reports that the restaurant was burglarized.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that between closing her restaurant the night before and arriving there today, she observed the front left window of the business completely shut. An air conditional unit sits in this window and when she walked up to the storefront it was on the ground.

As the complainant entered the restaurant, she observed several items on the ground near the cash register. When she opened the register, the complainant observed $735 to be missing. The power was also out to the entire building and she was unable to gain access to her camera footage.

Officers walked outside to the rear of the building and observed a National Grid meter that appeared to be tampered with. Detectives arrived to process the scene.

Police contacted a neighbor across the street who stated he/she might have footage of the incident. Upon viewing the video, a person of unknown race and gender walked to the rear of the building. Moments later, the unknown person then walks to the front of the building.
