According to a recent study by Preply, Niagara Falls has been identified as the top tourist attraction in Canada. Whether you're planning a long road trip or a short day trip, it's crucial to know which stops are worth your time. Preply's study analyzed Tripadvisor reviews to help travelers, both from Canada and abroad, determine the attractions that are truly worth visiting.
The Horseshoe Falls, largest of the three waterfalls at Niagara, claimed the first-place spot as the most worthwhile attraction in Canada. With an impressive 99% positive reviews, it even surpassed the overall ranking of Niagara Falls, which placed 14th on the list. Following closely behind Horseshoe Falls are Whistler's Superfly Ziplines in second place and Newfoundland's Gros Morne National Park in third.
However, it's important to note that not all attractions in the Niagara Falls area live up to the hype. The study also revealed that Marineland, located in the same area, is considered the most disappointing tourist attraction in the country. This finding, given recent legal and ethical issues as it pertains to their animals, should not come as a surprise.
