Niagara Falls Police are investigating two separate incidents of gunfire that struck homes in the city early Monday morning. The first report of shots fired came in around 5:30am on the 2300 block of Elm Court.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two bullet casings in the roadway and found a residence that had been struck by gunfire. While they were investigating the Elm Court incident, police received another call of shots fired on the 1900 block of Cudaback Avenue.
At the second location, officers located four bullet casings in the roadway and identified a second home that had been struck by gunfire. Authorities believe that both incidents may be related and an investigation is ongoing.
No injuries have been reported in connection with either incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the NFPD non-emergency number at (716) 286-4547.
