Niagara Falls ONTARIO to Host Star-studded Misty City Music Festival in September

Niagara Falls, Ontario, is gearing up for a major music celebration this fall with the launch of the Misty City Music Festival. Set to take place on September 5th and 6th at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, the festival aims to highlight the city's vibrant entertainment scene with a mix of live music, top-tier barbecue, and locally crafted beverages.

Mayor Jim Diodati, alongside event organizers, officially announced the festival on Tuesday, emphasizing its potential to enhance the region’s tourism and hospitality industries.

“Music tourism benefits cities all over the world,” said Diodati. “We are very excited to get in on the fun and host a music festival of this magnitude in the heart of Niagara Falls. It will enhance our tourism and hospitality offerings and provide another cool option in the incredible buffet of fun and entertainment available to all who come to Niagara Falls.”

Though the official lineup has yet to be revealed, organizers promise an impressive slate of internationally acclaimed rock and country artists.

“It’s exciting to bring a music festival of this scale to Niagara Falls,” said Erik Dickson, the festival’s creative director. “The creation of this festival represents another great step toward developing Niagara Falls as a Music City and helps strengthen Niagara as an international tourism destination.”

Beyond the music, the festival will offer an extensive food and drink selection showcasing some of Canada’s finest barbecue vendors. Attendees can look forward to mouthwatering dishes from Niagara’s own Billy Bones BBQ as well as renowned pitmasters like Texas Rangers BBQ, Camp 31 BBQ, Uncle Sam’s BBQ, and Hawgs Gone Wild. A wide variety of Canadian beers, cocktails, and spirits will also be available.

Organizers revealed that the festival has been in development for nearly two years with careful planning to ensure a high-quality experience for both locals and visitors. Positioned against the stunning backdrop of Niagara Falls, the Misty City Music Festival is set to be a highlight of the region’s cultural calendar.
