Niagara Falls Man Gets a Bike Lock Beating After Trying to Help Customer

Niagara Falls Police responded to Dollar General on the 1800 block of Pine Avenue around 1pm on Wednesday, May 1st, after a reported assault/beating with a bike lock.

Upon arrival, police learned that the victim had already been transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for a laceration to the head. Two witnesses remained on scene and spoke with law enforcement.

Both observed a male talking to a female in front of the store advising her of the best way to properly lock up her bike so it wouldn’t get stolen. The female then grabbed the bike lock and began to strike the male in the head causing a laceration with blood.

The female, who was wearing a p95 paint respirator, fled the scene on a white bicycle with pink handlebars.
