Niagara Falls Man Faces Up to 20 Years in Prison for Attempted Rape


Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Gregory Noonan, age 25, of Niagara Falls, plead guilty in County Court to two counts of Attempted Rape in the First Degree. Noonan had been indicted with charges of sexually assaulting two different victims in Niagara Falls in 2021 and 2022.



Seaman stated, “the defendant faces up to 20 years in prison and 15 years post-release supervision. On behalf of the victims of these crimes we will be asking the judge to impose that maximum sentence.”



The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by Special Victims Unit Bureau Chief Heather Nicholson.
