Jevon Flynn, a 30-year-old resident of Niagara Falls, faces a lengthy prison term after a guilty plea to charges of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. The plea was entered before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo on Thursday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey E. Intravatola who handled the case provided details of the arrest and subsequent search that led to Flynn's guilty plea. On March 26th, 2024, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence in Niagara Falls where Flynn was discovered in a bedroom. During the search, authorities uncovered a backpack and a pair of pants in a clothing hamper near Flynn both containing multiple illicit substances.

Inside the backpack, investigators found a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine. The pants held two additional baggies - one containing suspected fentanyl and the other containing blue-colored pressed pills. The search also resulted in the seizure of more suspected methamphetamine and eight grams of suspected crack cocaine.

As a result of his guilty plea, Flynn now faces severe legal consequences. He could be sentenced to a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison with the potential of life. Additionally, he may be fined up to a maximum of $10,000,000.
