This morning at approximately 2:45am the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a domestic incident in the 400 block of 22nd Street.
When officers arrived on the scene they encountered a possible suspect outside of the incident location. That person was detained while Officers entered the home. Upon entering the home, Officers found an unresponsive female on the floor. Officers immediately began administering first aid to female. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
The suspect, Edward Parmer, 63 of Niagara Falls was brought to the Police Station and charged with 2nd degree murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned today. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
