Niagara County Man Arrested for Beating Puppies to Death

A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbing case of animal cruelty in the Town of Newfane. Christian Radetich-Hallman faces charges after he allegedly beat two puppies to death.

New York State Troopers were dispatched to Main Street on Thursday, October 24th in response to a report of animal cruelty. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of a 3-month-old female Australian Shepherd and a 4-month-old male King Charles Cavalier Spaniel inside a residence. One of the deceased puppies was found discarded in a trash can.

Radetich-Hallman was taken into custody on Tuesday and is facing two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals as well as two counts of criminal tampering with physical evidence.

Radetich-Hallman is expected to appear in court in November. No further information is available at this time.
